Hey everyone I have a unique question for the community. I have fallout 2 on an external HDD I carry around with me so I can play int anywhere. On my desktop and laptop it works fine and in the screen options of preferences I can put it in a small window so I can still see my main screen (I use this while I work) I tried it on a new PC today and I can't even access the screen options and when I go into the file manually and select the window mode, it doesn't work and still fills up the whole screen. I'm wondering if it's a monitor resolution issue but I'll be honest I have no idea. My home PC has a 27' Samsung monitor and the one with the issue is a small monitor (not sure on dimensions atm sorry!) but it's max resolution is 1280x1024 and it has an integrated HD graphics card if that matters. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to put all the classic Fallout games on there so I'd like to know how to fix it. Thanks everyone!

Is it a windows system? If you press the keyboard windows key, or Alt+Tab, and the game minimizes (so that you can't see it anymore), then it's not in windowed mode. (At least in win7. I'm not sure what the key does from win 8 onward). Also, I'm not sure if this is still the case if the game runs in borderless windowed mode. You could try to manually set the game to a lower resolution in said file where you manually set it to windowed mode.
