Hi guys,

I am reinstalling Fallout 2 and I am wondering wether there is some mod pack with an ultimate installation, like the one for Fallout 1, with all mods and restauration packs needed?

Or which mods and/or packs would you recommand me?

If you want lots of mods together, without compatibility problems, there is MegaMod:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/mib88-megamod

If you just want bugs fixed, killap's unofficial patch:
www.killap.net/fallout2/patches/unofficialFO2patch.exe

If you want Fallout 2, with all the things that were removed before it was released, killap's Restoration Project (his patch is already included here):
www.killap.net/fallout2/expansion/2.3.3/F2_Restoration_Project_2.3.3.exe

Ok then,
And if I want bug fixed AND restored things? Can I install both Killap's and Restoration Project?

You don't need to, unofficial patch is installed by default. You just need to download Restoration Project installer. :)

Thank you kindly. :)

And what about Fallout Tactics? Any such "must have"?

Not to my knowledge.

The only thing that Tactics has that's worth getting in this sort of mod category is the hi-res patch, there isn't nearly as much modding interest in the game.

Also FYI, Fallout Fixt now is basically the restoration project/unofficial patch (it has two versions) for Fallout 1.

Oh.
I guess I'll have to re-restart a game. :)
