I recently got a GOG copy of Fallout 2, and its not working right. Attempting to start the game via shortcut simply doesn't working, popping up a "Cannot run fallout2.exe" error message. However, reinstalling the game and triggering the autoplay *does* work. Is this a known problem, and if so, how do I fix the shortcut so that it works?

Have you tried running the program as an administrator? That usually does the trick.
