Heya, one and all!

When I make small movements with the mouse in FO2 the mouse doesn't move a whole lot on the screen. When I make more faster movements the cursor seems to be all over the place.

Basically, it feels like the mouse changes the sensitivity whether I move it quickly or slowly. Is this common?

I have a Logitech G600 2012 model and installed the Restoration patch for FO2.

Try disabling the "Use OS native drivers for pointer speed and acceleration" in the Logitech mouse options.
I looked for said option in my mouse settings and the Logitech mouse options. Can't seem to find it.

I can only change the DPI, per profile settings, separate X/Y speed and enhanced pointer precision. Weird.

I should note that I have a 2012 version of the G600.
My suggestion was taken from this post.
Anyway, after your reply and after a quick Google search, I found out G600 mouse driver hasn't that option: no surprise you can't find it. :-)
Well, this is a real problem, as, according to troubleshooting, I am quite sure it should resolve your issue.

Assuming you're using Windows 7 or newer, try going to "Mouse Properties/Pointer Options/Motion" and checking/unchecking the "Enhance Pointer Precision" box.
First of all; huge thanks for taking a moment to help finding a possible solution to my little... challenge. It is really appreciated.

And now for your suggestion - it would seem it did the trick in my case. Great success!

Now what the logical explanation to why it is acting like that when the cursor precision is on... beats me. :)

Thanks again.
I suppose there is a bad interaction between the "Enhance Pointer Precision" option of Windows mouse driver and the "Use OS Native Drivers for Pointer Speed and Acceleration" of Logitech driver. So you have to disable either the first one or the second.
This bad interaction creates some issue with mouse acceleration particularly in case of low resolution screen (i.e. old games).

Glad to have helped you.
