After reinstalling Fallout 2 and either sfall or the unofficial patch a couple times I keep getting colour problems ingame. Does anyone know how to fix these? I mostly just want the mods because apparently they fix the insane amount of random encounters while traveling.

I also run the high res patch.

I just got the same thing after installing kilaps unofficial patch =\ no idea how to fix it.

Try running in 256 colors in compability mode and see what will that change.

f you're using a 64-bit version of Windows (Vista or 7), you may find that the default configuration crashes upon load. You must run the game in DirectX Mode 4. In ddraw.ini in the Fallout 2 program directory, find the [Graphics] section and use this setting:

Mode=4

Yeah doxisme setting mode=4 did help me. On top of that I also had to set GlobalShaderMode=1 to accommodate for a resolution of 1280 by 720.
