I noticed that the Fallout 2 Restoration Pack (killap) changes the Karma awarded for completing the Temple of Trials from 15 to 12. I enabled the Karma change notification in the engine tweaks by timeslip and the game displays : "You gained 15 Karma points", immediately followed by: "You lost 3 Karma points".
EDIT: I contacted killap, the author of the Fallout 2 Restoration Project, and he's aware of the problem and looking for a fix.
