Trying to get FO2 running on an older PC using XP, pressing play in the menu gives a "Could not load DirectX. This program requires Windows 95 with DirectX 3.0a or later or Windows NT version 4.0 with Service Pack 3 or greater.".
XP is fully updated and using DIrectX9.0C, the latest version you can get for it I believe, installing unofficial patch made no difference. Neither did compatibility mode. Any ideas?
