Hi guys, I have played a lot to Fallout 1 so I guess it was the time to start Fallout 2!

So here I am, in Den with no armor and finally a pistol! So I'm asking, did I miss something? Is it normal that I didn't found a armor already or a good fire arms? Technically I can purchase a leather jackat but it will cost almost everything I have.

Quest side:
in Klamath I have done the "rat dungeon" killing the "rat god", I have helped the shepard but I haven't kill the robot, geckos in "geckos area" or in the toxic cave (too dangerous).

in Den I have just complete the "gang war" in the church


Any tips?

(ps: I have heard abbout a secret/cutted area in Den, I can rob/kill everyone without consequences?)

You could have picked up a 10mm pistol in Klamath on a corpse in the rat tunnels. Klamath is the 1st place you can acquire armor (from trades).

For the complete walkthrough I'm already use the wiki pages. I was just wondering if I miss a "free" gun or armor somwhere (like in Fallout 1).

Oh, I miss that pistol, I found only the Pipe Rifle. Anyway I bought a Leather Jacket and the first companion and he is pretty awesome!

Update: I can't pick up the gun, in fact that is the second gun on the ground the I cannot pick up!

Well, hopefully this is not coming to late, but you can make a lot of easy money in the Den, at Becky's Casino craps tables, depending on how much time you are willing to spend with save and loads. I arrived in the Den with 117 dollars in my pocket, in around an hour reached 31000+ (Gambling skill at 40%). Select Proposition Bet 6X6, or 1X1 dices (at your fancy) bet of a hundred and roll in the money, i usually spend around 1000 then i load again so i can be in the profit zone.

That's not supposed to happen. Are you sure you installed everything correctly? Are you using the Restoration Project?

Also, please don't consult guides the first time you play the game. You're experienced with Fallout 1, so you already understand how it works. Just enjoy the game and save the guides for subsequent playthroughs.

FWIW, your poverty generally doesn't last long in F2. All too soon you'll be rolling in money and ammo.

Minor spoilers.

You're right where you're supposed to be. You're also supposed to be poor at this point.
Nearly past the poor, weak and under-equipped stage, but not quite yet.

Things you might have missed.

- Sulik. Is he with you?
- Did you find the car part, in a yard after rat caves?

... and yes and no. You can rob and kill everybody, but then they wont tell you were to go next because they cant anymore. If you know where you're going, it doesn't matter.

I have just clean up Navarro base......so I gues I have figured out!

About unpickable item I have read about it, it is a bug. You can't pick up item on blood stains, you have to wait untili they dry out.
