For some reason, my downloaded copies Fallout 1+2 refuse to run at fullscreen. The screen just goes black and I have to use ctrl+alt+del to manually shut it down or reset my pc entirely to back out of it. Occasionally the Interplay intro cutscene's sound (though the screen is still black) will start and stutter in place, but I've never been able to get past that.

The game runs absolutely fine, however, if I tick the "windowed" box in the "Hi-Res Config" program. Although that isn't ideal as I can't alter the screen resolution this way.
