I can't get Falche to work with Fallout 1 (and yes, I know it's cheating, and yes, I know you shouldn't do it)
My problem is, I can load the save games and alter the details in FALCHE, but when I save and return to the game, the values are back as they were.
If I go back and load FALCHE, the stats are back to their edited value - the game just doesn't seem to agree.
I can get FALCHE2 to work with gog.com's Fallout 2 - just not number 1.
Does anyone know what I can do?

If your using vista or win7 are you running the program as administrator by right clicking it and selecting run as administrator?

Is it even confirmed FALCHE works with GOG's Fallout 1? I mean, GOG has the UK version of Fallout 1, maybe FALCHE only works with the US one?

I'm in a similar situation to the OP. My system is Win7 64-bit. I've set FALCHE to run as admin in Win95 compatibility mode. I browse to the Fallout/Data/Saved Games/Slot1. I click open and nothing happens.
I'm not sure of the version number, but I pulled the FALCHE version posted by Odin at NMA.
I'd welcome any suggestions or alternatives.
