so i was playing fallout2
so i was escorting a caravan from broken hills to vault city on 21st MAR
then we hit a bunch of raiders and killed them (yay jackhammer found)
when i decide to leave the area, a second group, this time wolves, attacked
when we arrived in vault city i looked on my pipboy and it was the 26 APRIL
we took over a month to get from broken hills to vault city?!?
It's not a bug, caravans take a long time. (There ARE a lot of various bugs with caravans, but this isn't one of them.) Remember, you aren't driving your car or even hiking there, you're driving cattle or transporting wagons of goods around, with armed guards and the like. Moving that much stuff and that many people takes a while, which is why the caravans take a while. You also have to remember that the Fallout 2 map is HUGE. It contains most of California, Oregon, and Nevada, so while Broken Hills and Vault City look pretty close together on the map, they're hundreds of miles apart.
