My group of friends has re-gathered for some FT (we all played it together in the 2004-2005 time range) and we're experiencing disconnects while playing.
Here are the details:
Two Windows XP SP2 machines.
Both directly connected to the internet with public IP addresses on the computer.
Tried with and without Hamachi.
We basically get into a game and get though maybe one or two combat turns before the disconnect happens.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I wonder if DirectPlay has anything to do with it.. it's a part of the direct X that FoT uses.
