With anticipation i bought this game and now i must save ALL the time because of an unknown crash. thanks GOG

its sounds more like a comp problem as i know hundred of people who had no problems....plus i a single bug doesn't warrant one star....seriously.
I've had no problems what so ever, with both a Vista and a windows XP machine. You got issues, friend. Did you check the forums for support?
Admitting it was 3am when i wrote that and my game had just crashed so i was a little peeved.
Fallout could utterly fail yet still deserve more than one star. I played this game shortly after it's release and have been a huge fan since. I changed my star rating due to it being a great game and want to extend a huge THANK YOU to GOG for bringing it back for fans to play and new people to experience a classic for the first time.
I did check the forums an nothing seemed to fit my issue. my video drivers and direct x are current yet the game will randomly crash for no reason that i can see.
I have tried to see the error message involved but a block of black blocks it and any attempt to see the message does no good. any input would be nice

steps to follow:
play game -> make it crash -> open eventvwr -> read what problem is
Great job complaining about a game and making no attempt to look for a fix. Show a log of what happens when your game crashes or use the support function
What you may want to try doing, is using one of the fan patches. I personally like to use the Fan patch the the NPC mod, but it's all up to you.
