I acknowledge that my post is a cry in the dark, but it doesn't hurt to try as always. I switched a couple years back to NixOs and have been loving it, though recently I changed window managers to Hyprland. It has been giving me a few problems, since I also run an NVIDIA GPU (GeForceRTX750) along with a intel CPU (i7-4790) the game runs perfectly with one exception: There is god-awful mouse stutter that seems to be caused from the way Wayland interacts with mouse and keyboard input, since it mostly happens when interacting with any of said inputs.

If anyone sees this post would love to hear how you got it working.

Thanks.

It almost sounds like a compositor problem. Have you tested other Wayland window managers (such as 'Sway') to confirm that this issue is indeed related to the Wayland protocol? Are you open to testing under X11?

Disclosure: I have never used Wayland.

Out of curiosity: is there a particular feature that had caused you to gravitate towards this 'Hyprland' window manager?

Hey! sorry for the late reply the compositor is under Wayland. And I wanted to go to Hyprland well... Because it's pretty! (And insanely easy to configure compared to other window managers) Also: Brigador: up and armored edition has been running perfectly compared to before, it was my testing ground whether games would have mouse stutter or not. As for fallout I'm going to test out now. Check back soon. Oh also, I'm running on NixOs for anyone checking the post.

EDIT:

It works Perfectly with no mouse stutters. No I don't know what I did, no I don't know if it was an update for the drivers.
