So I have both F3 and NV only from gog and not sure if that's applicable to steam cloud saves for these two games, but there's an irritating issue that apparently cloud saves include not only saves, but the settings files as well. That apparently causes issues for me whenever I switch between the two machines - the htpc and my main rig. My htpc runs at 1080p and the main rig is 1440p, so every time when I played on one and then start on the other, I have to switch the resolution as the settings get auto-redefined and drop to default 720p setting in launcher. But that's not the main issue. Whenever I switch from main rig to htpc and settings get rewritten, both games start to behave weird and have stutters. If I delete the ini files and play only on one of the machines - no issues at all. Why, oh why did gog had to include settings as part of cloud saving files? I have Skyrim special edition on both machines via steam with cloud saves enabled and each has their own game settings and can play it on either of them without any issues like that. Saves are just synced independently from any other files. Can't the same be done for F3 and NV with cloud sync including only actual save files without the rest of the folder containing .ini files?

File a bug report! Of course ettings must be machine specific. I have had that issue elsewhere than GOG and it is infuriatingly frustrating and makes one think many ill thoughts of the service and its creators.

Thanks for a suggestion. I filed requests related to loading/saving issues for both games. Let's see if this will go anywhere but yeah, this is a simple, but highly inconvenient matter for anyone using several machines.
