I can't get Fallout 1 to install everytime I get a disk access error. Checking the logs it says something about dotnet4 patch error. I use the old GOG version not the one currently selling in the store.

Also when trying to uninstall it I also get an error and the files are still in the game directory. Is there some incompability with the game and the galaxy client?

Not sure, I installed with success my Fallout 1 classic in my Windows 10. I even installed it in a different partition than C>

Can you give some more details of your OS ?

The "dotnet4 patch error." seems to be an issue with ,Net Frameworks. Maybe something related between installing multiple versions ? (E.g. from installing many old games, each one requiring a specific .NET version). Probably the technical support may give a better understanding.
And probably better (surely faster) contact Microsoft community or support. This is something prevent Galaxy to install update and unistall games.

Its not clear what you install and unistall? Two differ games?

Hi Klappis. I too was having this issue. I tried a number of different things that I saw online (running Galaxy as admin, changing directories etc) but what ended up working is this:

1 Give up your attempts with Galaxy.
2 Visit your gog page in a browser, find Fallout.
3 Download the "Offline/Backup" installer.
4 Install Fallout with that. (can even be your regular location for Galaxy games)
5 When done, Open Galaxy, Choose "Gear Icon > Add Games > Scan Folders", aim to the folder where Fallout exists and it'll add it to your list.

From there, you're free to use it as if it was installed by Galaxy client.
