javic12: I use MO2 for modding and am trying to switch from Steam's FO4 to GOG's. It's easy to point my existing MO2 set-up to the GOG installation folder, but mods that include an F4SE DLL aren't working correctly with the GOG version. In particular, the relevant DLLs aren't loaded at runtime even though they show up in the virtual folder.
A post to the MO2 Discord suggests this is a known problem with GOG's version of the game, but I thought I'd ask here in case somebody's managed to get it working.
EDITED: Sorry wrong post
lordwinner: Unsurprisingly, removing the DLLs copied manually and passing -forcesteamloader to the program "works" for me as well. That is, for now, I get a crash when reloading the latest save, just like when at least one offending DLL was manually put into the mix.
Buffout 4 and Console Commands Extender previously seemed to be offending, but it looks like they're not the only ones.
EDIT: now, there seems to be a single offending module: Interior NavCut Fix.
OMG you blinding genius you!!! This FINALLY solved the MO2 issue I've had thank you so much. -forcesteamloader now makes MO2 load my plugins otherwise I have had to do plugins manually while installing the main body of mods than editing via game files to change bits which can now all be done in MO2. Adding -forcesteamloader into arguments for f4se now makes it all work.
