Thank you for enabling me to try the original Fallout, many years ago, my experience with PC Gaming was limited to Diablo and Counterstrike. I am glad I have the opportunity to play a game that I had never got to that is considered to be a classic. I currently have Fallout 3 but I bought it because Bethseda made it and they made Oblivion which is an excellent game.
While I do have FO3, I thought to myself after hearing of this website, why not play the originals and then play FO3? I might find myself more immersed in the series gameworld and background.
It's almost like the same reasoning behind not watching a season of a show when you can wait and watch it all at once by buying the whole season when it comes out on DVD, this is just 3 installments of Fallout.
I'm not sure about Fallout Tactics though, I like games like FFT and Tactics Ogre, if Fallout Tactics is as good as those games, I might consider picking it up. Any opinions on that?
And, thank you gog.com for enabling me to experience all this. As long as you put out good content like this, I have no reason not to be a loyal customer.
Also, a small request, would it be possible to bring the Thief series to gog.com? I never got to play any in that series either.
3 Cheers for GOG!!
And a cheers from me too. Nicely designed site, with all the games I had or wanted to get when I was younger. Keep up the good work y'all!
My favourite feature is how the games are modified to be more compatible with XP and Vista :D
I would say that if you play Fallout 1 and 2 first, you may find Fallout 3 somewhat disappointing, if you play Fallout 3 first you won't know how bad it is compared with the originals, so will enjoy it more. This would not take away the enjoyment you would still have with the original Fallout's..

Thank you GOG. :)
I had heard about GOG being in beta and by the time I checked the site it was launched and raring to go. The big bonus was having Fallout 1 and 2 easily available.
THANK YOU!
indeed GG GOG.COM, great site, love engine behind it, and also good ideea, you should make lots of money, just dont go greedy in the future, and dont ever sell your company to big shity companies like EA, Directdriver, or other assholes
