A lot of people disregard this game from the fallout series because of it's differences, but there's a reason this got called fallout tactics and not fallout 3. If you enjoyed the combat in fallout 2, then get this game, it is rewarding and the realtime mode is excellent, but it is not really a game where you wander round solving problems in the wasteland, unless those problems are fixed with bullets.
There are some issues with this however, as they did not try to modify the SPECIAL engine that much, as there are a lot of useless skills, and inventory management is still a chore. It does have voice acting by R. Lee Ermey, the shouty drill instructor from Full Metal Jacket though, which is worth half a star alone.
