This mod uses as much as 19GB of ram before crashing. Fast travel speeds up this ridiculous ram usage. When the game starts loading in very low resolution textures, quit out to desktop. It's about to crash.

I have all the so-called "fixes" installed with their correct settings. There's a serious memory leak or clearance issue that needs to be resolved.

Windows 11
RTX 4060
32GB Ram
1TB SDD

Turn off the buffoon mod if you installed, and change in gameplay (I think) the auto save pip-boy from 10 min - 30 min.

I am just curious not trying to be snippy but where on the page does it say it recommends Buffout 4 and High FPS fix, I do not see it?

OR a poor design choice on their side.
Do believe the same words are on the stickied threads here though.

If you install Buffout then you need to disable the Memory Management feature in the config.toml file

edit it with notepad

change MemoryManager = true > false

I believe it conflicts with memory changes caused by BAKA ScrapHeap

certainly the game was crashing every hour or two for me but now its more stable and VRAM usage more 'normal'

I've had MemoryManger set to false ever since I installed Buffout. I was in the Westminster area today and the game was eating 21gb of ram.
