I bought Fallout 4 on Steam years ago and played it for 300 hours. Uninstalled at some point, and then followed the instructions for automatic reinstall, downgrade, and London mod, etc. I did *not* do this manually. I believe I did correctly, but who knows. The game seems to be mostly with one or two odd exceptions.

That said, despite my settings, the textures appear kinda low quality. I could be imagining it, or maybe I'm spoiled by 2024 sensibilities, but I have everything set to Ultra, and everything looks ... not very detailed at all. And, in addition, as an experiment, I set everything to Low, and I didn't notice any difference.

Now, something to point out, is that I can only change the graphics settings through the Fallout Launcher, i.e. the Fallout Launcher Steam installed on my desktop. Or through Steam. If I click on the Fallout LONDON Shortcut, it just takes me immediately to the game screen, i.e without the ability to change graphics, which appear to be handled exclusively through the Steam Fallout 4 Launcher.

In addition, I cannot launch the game through GOG itself, as Play is grayed out, maybe because I did not buy the base game through GOG. I have no idea. I never used GOG before.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I mean, maybe this is just the real graphics of the game, but I don't think so from what I saw from trailers and stuff. I feel like the game is stuck on low resolution for some reason, and I have no idea how to set, or get around it through the console or ini files which don't appear to have anything for textures. I did notice the ini files display the correct resolution of 1920 x 1080, so that's good.

Well, appreciate any help.
