I don't understand why gog sell a mod of Fallout 4 and it say that now it is on giveaway... will it be a paid mod in the future?
Why it is not just on the usual nexus mods?

I don't think they can sell so i guess it'll remain free and GOG is just hosting and distributing the files.

Can you imagine downloading all this from Nexus ? it'd take a week.
Well you need the older version of the game anyway, and Gog has that, so it fits pretty well. Steam users have to downgrade which might be difficult for many people.

It is too large to be hosted on Nexus.

ah ok.... well I said nexus as an example. It could be anything mod related. Still that's explain why they bother.
They are not selling the mod, but just like on Steam you must add free content to your account by "Buying" it for $0.00.
GOG had agreed to distribute the mod for free before Bethesda dropped the Next Gen Update on Steam.

The FL devs delayed the release to supposedly apply the update, but it has NOT been released on GOG.
The Creation Club is removed from the GOG release, because ALL single player games on GOG must be DRM & Cash Shop Free.
Clearly the FL Devs got tired of waiting for an "update" we may never get & don't want..

You need to own F4 & the GOG version of F4 does NOT need downgrading, but the Steam version does.

To auto-subscribe people to the newsletter (and the other subscription checkmarks) is why it's on giveaway. It won't be paid in the future. Too big for Nexus.
