I get crashes usually on loading areas or fast travel several times a night (every hour or two est) . Is this just a thing or is something wrong with my install ?

Thats normal for Fallout 4 as a whole, so yes its normal for Fallout London too.

No, not my experience AT ALL, and I play with a well modded FO4: 149 mods and 121 plugins. Yes, BGS games are not the most stable, there will be occasional crashes but not as frequent as OP has.

Then there is the issue of hardware and background processes -- everybody loves to 'blame the game' but some\many\most need to look at the client side first...

FOLON I cannot say (waiting for more patches) but sounds like there are issues, read the pinned threads etc. and do not mod if the base game is unstable
.

A tremendous personal insight to the thread, you must be so proud. Keep it up...

Not really.

Unless you mod the crap out of the game, of course. But, then it's your own fault, as mods typically bring in instabilities, as Fallout London demonstrates.

Its still happening sometimes every 20-30 min sometimes i can go several hours without crashing. No mods and high end pc build that doesnt crash in any other games. I tried a reinstall didnt help.It usually but not always crashes during or shortly after loading a new area especially fast travel..
Fallout London creates a log file named "crash..." in your My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE folder EVERY TIME a crash occurs, so you can see for certain how frequently they occur. My experience has been that after the 1.02 update (which came out Oct-18-2024), crashes have been virtually nonexistent. At launch, this mod would crash left and right, just like the OP said. So my guess is that the OP doesn't have the 1.02 update or didn't install it properly (it's a little tricky to install).
