Different from many of the crashes described here, I have a "geographical problem". I played to lvl 5 without problems. Then I entered Deptford, could investigate one street and since then it keeps crashing the moment the save is loaded or after two steps made max.
Is anybody awaere of localized crash points, or maybe it is linked to a certain amount of progress needing to be saved each time?

12 Crashes in a row with loading different saves: Guess I'll remove and install the lot one more time.

Thanks for any hint of what to do different.

Everyone is having crashes, you have to remember this is a Launch Build so it's expected.

There is something you can do that might help, it worked for me but I dont know if it will work for you:

Go to the Buffout 4 plugin folder, it should be Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\plugins\Buffout4, and inside the folder there is a "config.toml" file, you can open it with notepad, and inside there is a line that says "F4EE = false", change it to true and save.

Hope it helps.

I went through reinstalling the lot three more times with the same troubles: Unplayable, most of the time CTD at the end of loading the savegame, occasional few seconds of gaming before CTD.

Then got your hint... works ever since.. thank you very much!

That directory doesn't exist unless you have already failed to follow the instructions properly and have already somehow installed the buffout4 extension.
