Any plans for a coop version of this mode? Really hope so - it will be a true gamechanger :)

Nope. Not happening. A few multiplayer mods have been tried for Fallout 4 and none of them are working co-op.

The game doesn't even run for a lot of folks, I'd expect it to be playable for most people before they even consider trying.

Which is to say, that they probably aren't going to ever try even after the bugs are fixed enough to be playable for everybody.
