Baldur333: How to Install Fallout 4 London and play with much fewer crashes to desktop (CTD)
==================================================================
1) Install the correct version of Fallout 4 Release : v1.10.163.0
2) Install the Fallout 4 London MOD https fallout4london.com release
3) Run the Original Fallout 4 Launcher first
4) Select Options
5) Set a lower Graphic Setting
6) Then Run the f4se_loader.exe
7) Game on and mind the gap
This is missing a Critical step.

You have to run the actual Fallout London Launcher at least once, as the install only installs Fallout London files into Staging directory. You need to run the Fallout London shortcut to it's launcher. There you find another install/update button you need to click, that will move the staged files to the main Fallout Install directory.

After that you can launch via f4se_loader

Also if you apply a patch, it again only applies to the staging directory. You have to run the Fallout London Launcher and it's update/install button again to move the staged files.

IMO, this is the most common problem that people have with the installs and patches. Installing the mod, and patching the mod, only installs to a staging directory, you need to run the Fallout London Launcher and click the update button, to actually apply the staging directory to your main install.

Well if life was only that easy. I played the heck out of Fallout London until my monitor crashed. Now I have a new moniter and computer. Everything works fine until I get to the terminal in the Radshrew lab. I soon as I press the door reset my character can't turn. My character suffers a slow death, being eaten by shrews. Any help would be appreciated. running windows 11 on a 4070 with 8gig nvida.
