As subject line asks. Just curious, I am currently mid-play thru of a heavily modded FO4 steam install, has anyone installed GOG's FO4 (for doing a London install) and the two different installs will 'play' well together? Meaning play one install, and next day play the other as I want.

In the past have tried installing other total conversions after backing up the game install folder and 'User' game folders (there are several for BGS games) on external drive, but these backups never ever work again after uninstalling the total conversion. So, am hoping two different install sources may be possible for trying out London without loosing my current modded effort.

Yes you can. Problem is that both installation would use the same folder for .ini files and savegames, but there was a specirfic entry in a .ini possible to change the savegame location of one of the installations. I just can´t remember what it was. Try google for that , i try to remember.
Thank you for reply! I will look into the .ini file thing, or I suppose, making a new user account to login to windows would also work.

I saw a BBC interview with lead FOLON dev (congratulations BTW!!!), and they are addressing bugs and will be adding more gameplay content, before Christmas was mentioned, so I may just wait for that. Plenty of games on my SSDs to play meanwhile. :D
