I'm looking for more turn based stategy games with a base building aspect and the same kind of tactical gameplay. A sci-fi setting would also be nice.

There is Warhammer 40.000 Final Liberation. Instead of base building and research you have a unit roster, that you take from mission to mission. If anyone knows something more alike, be my guest!
