Hello,

I have to say I am more than disapointed about GOG, I bought this classic, which I love so much, but after Installation of the GOG Galaxy the game had several problems (.dll missing)

I remembered that this game was quite diffucult to run on a newer PC, because it is an old Windows 95 game.

BUT in my Opinion it is the responsibilty of the seller of the game, to make sure the game is running on the most commen systems (Windows 7,8,10), or give alll the information to make sure that it runs.

The only way to make it run, was like i did it years before: Google it and try all the things that mentioned somewhere. Even here in the Forum, nothing helped me. Maybe I am the only one with this problems.

I found a solution

Just install it under the folder: C:\windows\I-magic

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
I installed the game on 2 differnet windows 10 systems. One worked immediately the other didn't... so I'll check out your fix ;).

andyking83: .dll missing
Well, despite being very disappointed with GoG too (with its modern course, more precisely) I have to say that missing DLLs is not the seller issue. Any OS, from WinXP up, happens to give these errors just because none OS is packed with every DLL that you might need. You have to find and download 'em by yourself.
The game runs if you launch it directly from the exe, when not works is when launched from the direct access and Galaxy.

To fix it, in Galaxy, go to "Manage Installation", enable "Custom executables / arguments", select "Add another executable / arguments" and point it to installation path/exe/fallen.exe

Anyone now has a step-by-step-routine to fix the problem?

Here's missing MSVCR120.dll, but after downloading it, it says "registry corrupted".
gog should just include all of the required dll files in the folder, so that it will work for everybody.

Hi.
I have the same problem. Found this game on gog.com, downloaded Galaxy and bought this wonderful game. Couldn't even start it.....very sad.
So........"you are not aloooooone"

I can't disagree with this more. The game page in the GOG store says this program runs on Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11. That is obviously not true. GOG should not expect customers and forums to provide tech support to correct compatibility issues for product they say runs on current gen OS.
