FAITH update 1.4 - The Good Christian Boy (October 30, 2023)
• That's right, there's a special play mode with new art and music that is available for players who have earned the 'GOOD CHRISTIAN BOY' achievement and you can now also disable demons from the Options menu. Finally a video game achievement that's as rewarding as going to church!
• SURVIVAL MODE is available after finding the good endings in Chapters I/II/III and finishing the Chapter 2 Prologue. Fight your way through a brand new environment encountering every demon we can throw at you. Finishing a Survival run earns you one of ten ranks!
• We've added FOUR new animated cutscenes. Wowza.
• There's a new unlockable backgroundby @DragonRoIlZ
• The new Survival Mode music track “Airdorf Medley” by Gavin Craum added to Soundtrack
• And a new image added to production notebook archive in goodies. Neat.

Fixes

• Game window remembers the window size % when enabling/disabling full screen
• Numerous fixes for issues related to cultists that transform into hideous tentacle creatures, particularly in rooms with multiple instances of these enemies
• Fixed moments where controller rumble won’t stop rumbling (rumbling can always be canceled by pausing)
• Pausing the game while in Turbo mode returns the game to normal speed to make menu navigation easier

Gameplay Adjustments

• Quitting the game now takes you to the Airdorf Games splash screen instead of putting you through the “bootup”/”LOADING HYMNS” screen again
• Reduced Alu boss’ hp by 25%
• Slightly reduced hp and movement speed of the secret DUSK enemy in Garyland
• (Survival only) Gary’s RAIN OF SPIDERS attack has a ⅛ chance of reading “AUSTRALIA”

FAITH update 1.3 - Happy Mother's Day (May 11, 2023)
General

• Replaced code that executes only while certain audio assets are playing with code dependent on a runtime timer. This may help players with under-performing computers to avoid softlocks, bugs, etc. resulting from audio files not being loaded and played on cue.
• Implemented controller rumble across all three Chapters. Added new moments where the controller may rumble
• Achievements and unlockables can now be activated without Steam overlay needing to be enabled
• Draw order of text boxes versus "closer look" boxes has been fixed
• Fixed bugs where John could move around behind cutscenes as they play, potentially resulting in John wandering off-screen or warping to a screen he isn't supposed to
• Fixed bug where rapidly switching between values for "WINDOW SIZE" in configs causes window resizing to not work properly
• Cleaned up audio assets that were pre-loaded to and streaming from the game directory

Chapter I

• Re-instated Michael jumpscare when attempting to pause the game when he is onscreen and aggro'd
• Michael "kill screen" cinematic now plays if Michael kills John at the end of the chapter
• Fixed bug where John could shoot the mirror from the side and never get gotten by the mirror demon

Chapter II

• Fixed Garcia's animations during phase 3 of the final boss fight
• Fixed crash that sometimes happens when moving Garcia back up the basement stairs in the intro sequence
• Fixed crashes resulting from thralls getting confused about their intended target after killing Garcia during the Miriam boss battle
• Fixed crash resulting from waiting in the darkness and not doing anything after Garcia attempts to exorcise Michael in the intro sequence
• The mist clouds in the cemetery now disappear for good after beating the Mist Demon

Chapter III

• Added a new spooky animated cutscene
• Fixed some existing cutscenes that used the wrong colors, had small graphical errors, etc.
• Fixed bug where the torches during the final boss fight may not serve their intended function
• Fixed bug where the camera flash wasn't working properly on slower computers (note: if your computer falls below the minimum specifications you may still run into this issue)
• Fixed crash after colliding with certain objects while strapped to the gurney
• Fixed crash resulting from leaving the room with Timmy's corpse without collecting his note
• Fixed crash after the outro cinematic showing the elevator after the apartments
• Fixed typo during flashback sequences
• Fixed bug where John can trigger the secret boss area cutscene by going one screen north instead of going to the door
FAITH update 1.21 (January 07, 2023)
• The Cross spawns closer to John and further away from Gary for retrieval after getting hit
• And Gary (sadly) can no longer spam Rain of Spiders
• Lowered A??????? HP during first phase
• Lowered speed of A???????'s "pounce" attack
• Hindering seals now spawn further away from John so he has more time to avoid
• Maximum seals that can be spawned lowered to 6
• Seals now time out and de-spawn earlier
• M??????' hit box is no longer active while actively jumping/falling during its "jump" attack
• Fixed CH3 1st flashback null ref resulting in crash
• Fixed CH1 glitch where illusory Amy clones stay on-screen after they should be de-instantiated

• CH3: Fixed gurney error during Clinic
• Fixed graphical error that didn't show John in the car while he was driving
• CH3: Changed John's "dead" sprite when he gets killed in the gurney to be the same color as the normal John-on-gurney sprite
