One of the worst games I had to endure. The whole experience was a disappointing waste.
i actually really liked this game back when I played it, that's why I rebought it here on GoG. I love the atmosphere, when playing the main character (suddenly I can't remember his name) you feel like you are being boxed in when they search for you, it really gets to you; and then the scenes with Carla looking for clues are awesome in their own way. And I had no problems with the ending, other than a big LOL WTF after I got "what I had to acquire". Sure it was an akward sex scene, but come on which games have "non-akward" scenes? They just go less akward that's all. The important point was about what the game was trying to tell you.

All in all, I loved it. (sorry for the necro, just had to say this).

Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time. It wasn't shot like something out of a porn film, it was staged wonderfully, and it occurred as a natural progression of the characters' relationship. In this game, the shots of the sex scene aren't strung together very well from an editing perspective, and from a plot perspective Carla taking a ride on Lucas' disco stick came completely out of left field.

I haven't played any Prince of Persia games, so I'll take your word for it. In any case, I've yet to play a game where I watch a sex scene and don't feel "ok when is this scene ending". After investigating a little (google) and reading some posts, it seems the game was going to be a trilogy and was rushed, so they had to make the relationship happen in like 2 conversations. Yeah it was rushed, but I guess when I played it I just went with it.

The sex scene is technically misplaced because the game was supposed to be a trilogy and not a single game. Due to funding issues, they basically took the first game which was 50% complete and mashed the second and third planned games in the last 50% of what we got as final product.
As for awkwardness, there are no awkward sex scenes, just the viewer who thinks of who knows what and makes it awkward for him.

I'll state it again, Indigo Prophecy was a planned trilogy. Due to funding issues, Quantic Dream had combine all 3 games in 1. 50% of the first game was completed when money stopped coming their way, so they had to mash the second and third game of the story in the last 50%. You're basically left with half of the first game and a quarter of the second and third, hence why the story turns into nonsense towards the end and there are many plot holes and inconsistencies left.

I do believe the "swimsuit" dry humping in Dragon Age is awkward as fuck (no pun intended). It's almost like that game where you played as a biker dudebro and had fully clothed sex with every girl you met (and by fully clothed I mean the dude has his pants on and the girl has an overall). I can't remember its name, Ride To Hell, maybe? In my opinion it's the uncanny valley factor what makes it completely unerotic, and then there's the fact that you're just activating a bit of code in the game's programming. There was a video of a person messing with the QTEs during Heavy Rain's sex scene and it was hilarious.

Ride to Hell: Retribution was a joke. But it's still in the mindset of the viewer. There may be people who prefer sex fully clothed, otherwise I don't understand why the hell would someone wear a gimp suit.

It's true, as a Jewish guy, a lot of us prefer sex through clothes with a hole in them. Jokes aside, I've got a friend who wears a gimp suit, he says the restriction is the part he enjoys.
