I just got this game, played through much of it on my friends playstation and always wanted to try the pc version. but i'm having an issue where occasionally the last bits of a cut scene will be spontaneously cut off leaving me guessing at the ends of dialogues. ...such as every last word of every sentence in the tutorial, and some of the inner monologues ...it's usually just the last few seconds in a given scene and when this happens the game will end the scene and simply move on to the next bit of play.

So i'm not sure if it's a sound or graphics issue or a qte issue

For example during the police woman's initial inner monologue outside the diner when you activate the scene she says something along the lines of...

"I clearly remember the feeling I got when I walked into that restaurant as if some part of me knew that this time something-"

I assume that she is meant to say "would be different" or finish the thought somehow, but for me the scene ends there, in the middle of her talking, and there is a transition to me being in control of the character as though this was meant to be the ending of the scene even though I know it shouldn't be.

If it helps I'm currently running a Sound Blaster Audigy, on 64 bit windows 7 with An ATI Radeon HD 5770 GPU...I haven't had audio or graphics issues on any other gog games with this set up...or for that matter any games period. I'd really like to be able to get this working properly because I really enjoyed this game when I played it on the console, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks everyone.

This question / problem has been solved by triockimage
Try looking in this thread - http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=713761

Basically, you can try changing your sound card output from 48khz down to 44.1khz or just enable V-Sync.
Thanks! I turned V-sync on and it seemed to solve the problem! Awesome!
