I've been really exited to play this one, is there an expected release date?

No date yet.

To be honest I 'd far prefer GOG announced new games when they know the date. It's pointless to inform of a new release if it's going to months if not years away...

I have asked them at their Discord if the GOG launch will happen at the same time as Steam. Still waiting for a response...but based on the above announcements and that it has been advertised at GOG for quite a while I imagine it will be.

I would not be surprised if we see a GOG announcement for it soon enough.

On Steam the game is still available for purchase in advance access, a pity that this is the case on GOG. I imagine the game will be available on GOG on the day of the official release.
