So, my brother bought me this game on GOG, and we're having issues getting it to work for multiplayer. He apparently has the Steam version. My thought was to register my game on Factorio.com, and download it from their site directly.

I found the "cd key" (protip: go to gog.com, it doesn't show it in Galaxy.) but I can't figure out how to link it to my Factorio account.

Can anyone help me figure out how to get this registered?

Somewhere in your account settings there should be a text box (with the title 'upgrade account')that you can enter the CD key in to upgrade your account, allowing you access to multiplayer.
