Can't play it, have never been able to play it. Looking at your own plane causes the game to have unplayable levels of performance drop. Unfortunately, looking at your own plane includes, to a certain extent, looking at the instrument panel. Not only that, but this problem makes it completely impossible to use freelook to scan for threats. Your eyes must be glued forwards at all times. Try flying a fighter without being able to look over your shoulder.
To sum up, the game is not properly ported to work on modern systems. Don't bother paying for it. It's a shame, too, because it looked like it had some promise - I love a good flight sim.
