Any chance of getting any games on the F-14 Tomcat? Like Microprose's "Fleet Defender" or Janes US Navy Fighters (or any of the Janes series like USAF, USNF '97, etc..).

Thos would be nice, I totally forgot about Janes combat sims, I had a few back in the day, EuroFighter would be good too

The Janes series was the best of the combat sims. I would love it if they could do Longbow 2.

I would LOOOOOOVE to see the JANE's series here. Although I was not a sim gamer in the mid 90s to early 2000s, I was before then and I missed them when they were out.

Janes's series was the best for every sim-pilot until the advent of Falcon 4 (although it was deeply bugged).
I own the whole series of the Jane's Combat Simulations (except for WWII) but I'll surely will buy any Jane's title on GOG again.

I think EA is in control. I'm not holding my breath waiting for new study sims from that corner, though.

There is at least one F-14 mod available for Jane's F/A-18 with a 3D cockpit and some loadout properties. Perhaps Falcon 4.0 BMS has something to offer as well, but I'm not sure.

And yes, Jane's Fighters Anthology should definitely be on GOG.com.

Well, there is being developed a F-14 game by Third Wire Productions (the same guys who did Strike Fighters, Wings Over Vietnam etc.) . It is going to be titled: Strike Fighters 2 North Atlantic

Hi. F-14 simulations are very rare. I own one of the largest collections of simulation titles VGA time today (I also own title as Longbow Anthology / just hard to get), but also with me the F-14 unfortunately is only represented by Fleet Defender Gold. It's my favorite Fighter, too. It is the most famous jet, because of the movie TopGun, but unfortunately one of the least simulated aircraft. There are add-on aircraft for the Third Wire series. The rest of the F-14 simulation is more arcade shooter (Jetfighter IV / Topgun Fire at Will, etc.). Unfortunately, vendors good simulations are now almost all over on DRM, see DCS therefore.That's the reason I have no DCS title. I bought the first Flamming Cliffs with the Starforce Protection and after that it was the last sim of DCS. I own a cocpit simulator and often chnging something on it's hardware, so things got to be installed once again. DCS makes me crazy here. The Team Super Hornet F-14 Mod to Janes F-18 I can not recommend unfortunately. Was never really finished.

If you're looking for a reboot of Jane's USAF, then there is a website maintained by a guy who has updated and enhanced it.

It's called USAF SuperPro and it is hosted by a guy name GuflCoastKnight. You can google that.

You have to buy a subscription in order to download the files, but after that if you have the original USAF you can load the mods up and play. I haven't played it in a while but it was okay minus a few bugs.

Well, I'm happy to report that regarding Jane's USAF, things have changed, and the same goes for Jane's F-15 !
