I'm currently on first training mission but I don't even can take off.

I checked the key card and the game's manual and followed step by step but when I push Ctrl-+ nothing happens, Ctrl+= doesn't too, I checked the flaps are on, the brake is ok, all the other keys flares, gun, seems to work ok but I cannot even accelerate in the landing strip, the engine does'nt have any sound.

What I am missing? It has to be something really stupid or maybe my keyboard is different?? (I have the spanish layout).

Any hint of how to take off? Can I remap the keyboard for this game?

I believe it's Shift+- and not Ctrl+-

F-19 and F-117 won't work with non-english keyboards.

I mean, if you used keyb es to use spanish keyboard, the standard keys for throttle won't work. If you must use keyb es, you may change to english keyboard using Ctrl+Alt+F1.

BTW, in standard english layout, the - and = keys are the two keys to the right of 0 (zero), that in spanish keyboard are the ' and ¡ keys.

So, to throttle up your fighter (with spanish keyboard):
- You must not use keyb sp inside Dosbox.
- You must press Shift + ¡.

You need to load the US keyboard layout.

You can do that in DOSBox config or in the command shell of DOSBox by entering:
keyb us
