For those who've wondered what the ending might look like: here are the screenshots.
Well, I've finally done it. I am in a strange and intense emotional state right now. I can truly say I've never felt this way before. I remember playing this game to the ground as a 10 year-old and never getting past my 20th mission. Somewhere, somehow, that 10 year-old boy is smiling at me with a limitless grin on his face. I told you you'd eventually get there, kid.
If only I could meet the great programmers behind this game in the flesh and tell them about how much I've loved playing, then thinking about, and then again playing their creation over more than 30 years. The very many aspects of this game which I think are genius. They really deserve so much gratitude.
And so, so long F117A. Time to hang those medals. (And I never was able to get that second CMOH, damn it!!!)
