I really had forgotten how great this micropose sims were at those days.

It must have been 15 - 20 years ago I played the last time a flight sim.
For some unknown reason the F117 Stealth Fighter game raised my attention.
I had forgotten how much fun it can be reading a good manual und figuring out the game mechanics.

Micropose did know how to make good games, something I miss in todays sims and wargames.
The few companies creating things like that today mostly do perfect simulations but lost the focus of making "games".

Although there ist a 200 page manual and clunky interface , the overall accessibility is good.
You don´t have to be a sim expert to have fun with it.

I agree. It conforms to the golden standard of what makes a good game: can play it quick, a lot of intricacies are in the detail but without requiring extra power-ups / keyboard combos to reach, and everything is under your control. I've been so happy re-playing this the past few weeks.
