LOL. You use Norton?!!! For a start, all antivirus programs detect false positives. I, personally, haven't used a resident antivirus scanner since I accidentally installed Norton "malware" in '97. Antivirus in itself provides a false sense of security. Scan your system with MalwareBytes and (if you were foolish to use any Microsoft software that uses ActiveX, and then visited dodgy sites) you'll find much malware crap that Norton let in the back door. AND NORTON IS PAID-FOR CRAP! If you know where the security flaws are in an OS, you don't need antivirus. Do yourself a favour and install Comodo Internet Security (CIS). It has resident antivirus - if you wish. I switch it, off as there is still the right-click option to scan individual files without it. Mainly, it is an awesome firewall and HIPS - FOR FREE!!! [1997-> 2011 = 14 years virus-free, with optimally running, uncrippled, machines. Just goes to show]
