How do you sell off excess goods in the trading screen? I can only buy. I see no option to sell. Is this normal?

You buy goods with your goods. It's more an exchange. If you click on your goods it will tell you at the bottom how many of those goods it will cost to buy whatever you've selected from the trader.

Oh, I see. I thought everything was paid for in 'valuables'. Now I understand why the same good selected in my window are greyed out in the vendor's. Thanks Etcher.
