So first of all I have no issue with this game. I think it's a fun game with some interesting systems and I like the genre. My problem is that this game has now been integrated into Steam Workshop and even worse the devs have released mods that add game events onto Steam Workshop. What do GOG users get? Nothing. This is why you can't support a closed system like the Steam Workshop as a dev if you release on multiple services. It doesn't help that patches always took weeks to arrive on GOG compared to their Steam release (this one is largely on GOG I think).

All in all if I'm going to be a second class citizen for doing every gamer including Steam gamers a favor by supporting DRM-free gaming then I will just look elsewhere in the future.

Steam Workshop was incorporated with patch 1.0.7.1 a year ago. Logic Artists have forever been absent in GOG forums and their official forum was abandoned in favour of the Steam forums. This dev doesn't deserve any support, at least from outside of Steam.

They have significant communication issues even for Steam users. They promised a patch by the end of April of this year, and more than six months later there still hasn't been a peep. I don't know if they're just strapped for resources (presumably they're working on their next game, though it hasn't been announced yet) or just unskilled at public relations, but they definitely leave a lot to be desired.

It's a shame, because I think their games are good.
