I've just installed Expeditions: Vikings and it won't start at all as it requires internet access. I get as far as the startup splash screens and then the game goes back to my desktop. I always play games in offline mode and so disable any requested internet access straight away and haven't had an issue like this for years.I don't use Galaxy and so do not expect any game installed via the offline installers to need to go online.
One of the addresses is the usual 127.0.0.1 which I'd happily allow but the other three are for external sites albeit one being GOG but the other two are listed as Googleusercontent.com. I have a feeling that this may be tied to Galaxy needing to connect somewhere but as I never allow any game outside access I'm hoping there is a workaround for this. Does anyone know how I can bypass this and actually play the game without allowing it to connect to outside servers? Thanks in advance.
