Hi all,

Having a bit of trouble with the game, upon one of the patches being applied it appears that enemies are not spawning in battles as they should. Encountered it first in the quest Tomb Raider, where I entered the tomb but no enemies spawned. It has occurred in a number of other battles as well, including the first beach landing quest in the village.

If anyone has encountered this or has any solutions it would be much appreciated, cheers!

[SPOILER ALERT! BTW]
Hey! I've encountered something similar while playing with v1.03. After going overseas, at some random point combat wouldn't start at all. I could choose to fight, the enemy characters got the red outline on their bodies, but nothing else happened. I was free to roam around the place normally in exploration mode. After that all other combat would fail the same way. I've loaded a save before leaving the homeland, avoided combat and went to the Northumbrian city. Upon entering the city the dialogue with the champion started, but he was not there. If I chose combat with the champion it would start, but there would be no enemies and ending the turn caused me to “win”.
I am guessing that whatever triggered the bug must've happened in the homeland, as loading the save just before leaving the homeland didn't help.
The whole attempt at a play-through was played with v1.03. I didn't patch the game while playing. I've wasted several hours just to eventually come up with the same problem of being unable to fight or simply missing enemies. Could it be that a specific combination of choices or poorly timed clicks at certain events can trigger this bug? In Tomb Raider I've killed off the couple at the camp site and the son of the village leader to use as sacrifice. As far as quest choices, that's the only thing I've never done before so I wanted to try it out.
Anyway, the only solution I found was to restart the whole game, as no matter how many times I've reloaded the earliest save I had didn't help. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

In patch 1.04 there was a fix for problems with spawning if you click through dialogue too quickly, so don't go zooming through text options.

I see. Thanks for the explanation. I hope this fixes the issue. Am playing on v1.04 now and only had five crashes so far (75% through the story).
