So, either I'm an idiot, or the game is a little glitchy with mouse clicks. When it presented me with a bunch of shields representing which language I spoke, I thought I chose english, but apparently I got something else.

Anyway, as a result of that, I now can't understand anything that I am shown. I've clicked around on the options menu, but I haven't had any luck finding a way back to the shields, and restarting bypasses that.

I'm a Mac user, so install/uninstall is a little different from windows.

I've deleted the application a few times and reinstalled it (i.e. dragged it into the Applications folder). I searched via spotlight for the game's name and Logic Artists, including system files, but only the application file and downloads were shown. I went to ~/Library/Application Support, but I don't see any obvious folders where the magic file would be hiding.

Does anyone know a way to reset this thing so that it asks me again? When I go to the download page for GOG, it does offer me several languages, but English is the default, and all the pieces I downloaded appear to be in English. I don't think it was the download.

In Windows there is a Settings executable, which lets you set the language IIRC.
It might be the same on Mac, not starting the actual game but another program for settings.
There is only one application in the downloads on the mac side.
Google is my friend! It was really late when I tried to solve this and my brain was not working too well....

Anyway, lots of folks over at steam seem to have done the same thing: http://steamcommunity.com/app/237430/discussions/0/846954921961916121/

It's easy enough to fix without deleting plists or anything else.

Hmm...can't seem to mark my own message as a solution. Anyway, this fixed it for me, if you have the same problem.
