I play games mostly for story and that's the one thing this RPG's description manages to not mention.
So far the story and lore is told by scrolls and books you find as well as by the environment, so it is more trying to peace together things and a mistery. There is still a lot to come there, there is no dialogue yet but it will come(soon i think). I wouldn't expect lots of dialogue even when it is finished though. Having many human characters and such doesn't make sense considering where events take place and the story/lore.

I also only play games if they have a good story and dialogues but have enjoyed Exanima immensely. ;d I am really liking the lore and the story the carefully designed levels tell(there are some npcs already who also play into the story in a way). ;d

Non verbal storytelling works well (Bioshock comes to mind) so might give this a try.
