I've tried running in different compatibility modes, but the problem persists, I've updated all of my drivers and such, but the problem still persists, and I also run it as an administrator, but that still doesn't work... I use an AMD card and Windows 8 64-bit, btw

Try setting all Anti-Aliasing options in the Catalyst Control Center's 3D settings to "Application controlled". Newer AA techniques supported by your driver might conflict with the game.
