I'm at the point where the 5 ambassadors visit the island however no matter what I do the 5th never arrives. They all arrive one right after the other and I get the notification that the 5th has arrived but he physically never does. Thus I cannot progress past this objective.

I've tried several times now to just assassinate them literally as they step foot off the helicopter/submarine but when I get to the 5th, nothing arrives. Country of origin doesn't seem to matter as they arrive in a different order each time but it's always the last that bugs out...

I don't know if the GOG version stores the save games in this location.

I uploaded two files, not sure which one will be easier to fix. The one titled "Objective 7" is the last save I have BEFORE the ambassadors start coming to the island. That's the save I've been reloading to recreate the glitch.

The one titled "Quick Save" was the last save I did when I had kept playing for awhile without noticing I was stuck on that objective so it's already at the point where 4 out of the 5 ambassadors are dead and it claims the 5th is on the island (even though he's not).

If you can't fix it, it's not the end of the world. I've beaten the game before and I'm fairly close to the end this time as well (I think).

Are you using any mods? I crash when loading the saves. I'll give you a possible solution as I can't test this myself.

This could be a problem on my side as I probably messed up my clean Evil Genius installation, I'll reinstall the game but I don't want to keep you waiting so I'll leave this here.

1. Download this archive and extract the files into the main installation path.
2. Launch the game and load your desired save game.

Try to fix Objective 7 first, if you fixed it then save your game, then try to fix the Quick Save too.

3. Push P, then push Ctrl+D only once to active the console.
4. Move your cursor on the ground, so that the ambassadors can spawn.
5. Push \ or ~ to open the console.
6. Type add 1 329 and push Enter.
7. Type add 1 330 and push Enter.
8. Type add 1 331 and push Enter.
9. Type add 1 332 and push Enter.
10. Type add 1 333 and push Enter.
11. Push \ or ~ to close the console.
12. Kill the ambassadors and check if the objectives are fixed.

I think the game should only check if an ambassador with one of those IDs was killed, so it should be okay if you spawn them and kill them. This is just a theory on how the game detects stuff but i hope it works.
