I might have a hint for a possible feature in inventory. I just dismantled a superior rarity blaster. First item of this rarity i have found yet...I know I am probably half retarded and obviously I don't want "Undo" button because it makes no sense.

Only reasonable thing i thought of and that would actually save me here is a confirmation pop up but I think it should pop up only when dismantling equipped part.

I just would disable dismantle for equiped parts. You just need to unequip them before.

This! It probably makes no sense that one would dismantle a part that is equipped.
I would vote against a confirmation dialog, the fact that you have to hold the button pressed is sort of a confirmation that you really want this.
