I just have a quick suggestion (and I've only played for a couple hours, so please excuse me if there's already something like this planned or already in).

I wonder if Sticky Turrets that aren't destroyed after a battle could be picked up again for reuse. The time that it takes to pick them up could be used to balance it.

Don't know about the limitations, but something like the secondary weapons system that has charges (and has to be restocked) could be used here too, maybe even making the Sticky Turrets (or a variant of them) a secondary weapon.

The turrets will probably see some changes in the future. Watching how players utilized them already lead to a few new ideas we might want to test.
